So bad use of type face, I chose this because it screams dated. Its a typical example of past design and fashion and what was "right" used in a modern context it would be ripped apart because of how retro it really is. However it does work with the badly drawn illustration but fit the font into a modern context of books and what adult audiences expect from book covers " never judge a book by the cover" doesn't work anymore.

Now in comparison this book covers font is so much more powerful because of the style and it comes over more sophisticated. The font works well with the design layout of the cover too. It appeals to an adult audience which I feel the designer wanted as its not filled with colour. Its a book cover which suits purpose.
